Keith Pyecroft (Sensei) joined the B.A.M.A. in 1981 studying ‘Karate’. Through good fortune and hard work he became a private student of Master Chusan
(Pete Delane) in 1982 and under his direct tutelage now holds High Dan grades in Karate, ‘Japanese Sword’ and
Aikido-Te.
Keith then became a National Seminars instructor from 2002 and was awarded Chief Instructorship of Ken-Kai-Do in 2008. He is a full time professional Martial Artist which
allows him to practice, study, develop, teach, enjoy and live this most wonderful subject.
He continues to have weekly private lessons with Master Chusan (Pete Delane).
Being an ‘expert’ Martial Artist does not guarantee being a good instructor for they require different skills. Keith is a fully certified and licenced instructor of the B.A.M.A. World Governing Body which requires its instructors to undergo rigorous re-evaluation of both technical knowledge and teaching ability on a regular basis.
